About Our Group

In 1980, Betty Morgan formed a Breast Cancer support group in Whangarei, which then became a Charitable Trust in 2007. Over 40 years later, and we have supported thousands of women and we are still going strong.

Our Aim

Regardless of gender identity, we want the nearly 200 people who receive this news annually in our Northland region, to receive the support they need.  However, as a charity, we don't know when someone is diagnosed.  So if you or someone you know has received such news then please get in touch to see what practical and emotional care we can provide.  One of our specially trained volunteers will make contact and provid support through the journey.

You can join us at our fortnightly coffee mornings, we will treat you to a free coffe on your first visit, and a slice of cake if you visit us around your birthday.  Our facebook page has all our up to date happenings and information specifically for those who have or have had a breast cancer diagnosis to connect and support each other.

All of our Breast Cancer Support Northland trustees are volunteers. Thank you to all who have supported our community by supporting us.
